In accordance to the Nerv student handbook, I was forced to destroy him. God is in his heaven, all is right with the world.

Still felt really shitty about it afterwards. He seemed genuinely confused and hurt by the decision.

What my character would say during a meeting on whether or not to go marching off onto a side-quest that was obviously going to TPK. It ended up the best TPK ever, and the only PC that survived got to become our next party's BBEG.

My GM told me that since the BBEG was pregnant and her baby was completely innocent of her crimes killing her meant killing a truly pure-hearted being and falling as a paladin

I made the decision to leave the game

I havent made very many partiuclarly difficult IC decisions, but I have been in many instances where I had to choose between the logical option and the IC option, and those are always hard for me.

There are people who do this.
I know that there is also a version without either of those things, but still. I just wish people would put a little bit of fucking thought into these things. If you have to cap it yourself, it isnt good enough to repost, and reactions never do anything at all. The reader should be the one reacting.

Do I kill my daughter who became the vessel for the bbe demon god thign or do I just try to incapacitate her and search for a way to reverse it even though to incapacitate her would surely mean that the majority of my fellow travelers would die for my selfish desires? Well, at least in setting, there was no resurrection, so it wouldn't have come up.

Probably depends on how afterlives work in whatever setting you're doing, and how jealous the gods are about such things.

I was so tempted to kill the cleric also. Good thing I had some of that 'Death's Coma' poison left. Now I'm good with my family, BFF and once it came that the party 'resurected' the cleric, I got to join the party again under the pretense of doing a through job
