Yes the trigger is independent but they'll still untap the lands and kill him, possibly only losing one artifact. He's okay at best man. Stony silence is way better. It gets more decks and affinity can't deal with it
Okay it gets Titan, but that's literally one creature in a meta filled with small dudes. Bloom titan is just as likely if not more to win with Hive Mind anyways. Path will get better when there are bigger butts to deal with

And yeah it's great against boggles, but at the same time it's only great against boggles. The rest of the games you play you'll have an absolute dead sideboard card.
HOWEVER, and I really stress this, if your meta is filled with decks like boggles and angels grace, totally do sideboard like that. I've done the same thing, taking bobs out of jund because of so much aggro in my meta.
