So /tg/ we all agree this is the single greatest book Games Workshop has ever released right?

its like 4 god damn books in one! campaigns, sieges, naval action, skirmishes, and more!

they actually want people to have fun! no "I need to spam melta guns and plasma guns" no "all my armies have lvl 4 wizards and BSBs", no "the only way to dorf is to gunline". They just want people using this book to have a good time

this book isnt even "official"! they encouraged players to make their own rules, to think outside of the box! Don't like how they handle sieges or boats? well make your own rules to suit your tastes!

I definitely agree. That book came out and my friends and I have played nothing but RP map campaigns with scenery, alliances, the fortune table, and everything else. From the smallest skirmishes and Warbands to games that exceeded 25000 pts per side.

We don't even bother with warhammer lore at this point. Our armies and commanders have so much game lore that we only work within the confines of our accidental homebrew world.

Best purchase ever and I would buy 5 more because that's what it was worth to my group.

wasnt that kind of the point of the Border Princes? as a way to have armies without a real set army lore
