>>43357087Two of my favourite things about the Geth are that they're presented as a reasonable AI race, not pyschotic murdermachines for no reason, and that they're one of the few that accurately displays how a race without an true individuality is superior to one with it. They have more dreadnoughts than any other race, frequently have building projects completely out of the scope of anyone else, and have significantly more advanced technology. The reason why? They don't have an economy. Every Geth does it's part because they're all part of a larger system, they don't have luxuries to waste time on, so they just spend all day working on projects for no pay because it's a non-issue.
But in terms of what I like?
>Favourite Sci-Fi factionPic related, the supremacy faction from Civ: Beyond Earth. They combine my love of robots with a really appealing idea of post-humanity even if they are kinda type-cast as typical evil-robot overlords in the art department.
>Least favourite Sci-Fi factionI actually don't really know. Really, one of the most recent things I hate is ONI from Halo. One of the long tradition of idiotically paranoid/corrupt government organizations whose actions next to no sense and that no intelligent person would ever sign off on.
