Her backstory was the first thing that changed. Rather than be a serial killer, she worked for the government as an interrogator FBI sort of agent in a 1984-esque world. Also of course was really good at hiding explosives in innocuous places or in objects which she uses to to the same effect.
Setting is also apocalyptic and at the end of the game before we had to take a hiatus she became a pretty powerful warlord semi-reluctantly. She just wanted to get people to leave her alone and killing/brainwashing anyone who bothered her worked perfectly. So right now she is almost completely different.
