>>43368104>Most of the time when people say they don't need to be historically realistic because it's fantasy, what they mean is 'I'm just going to make it how modern, western middle-class people find familiar and comforting'.How much of this do you actually think is just doing boring fantasy, and how much is actually just making a setting that isn't overly edgy? Many of your examples actually make sense in a fantasy setting.
>Men and women are basically equalUnless the game has women being physically weaker to men, like in real life, then in that setting they would be treated basically equally because most games have gender being cosmetic at most
>People are gay or straight and its mostly acceptedIf the world has healing potions or magic, then the connotations of gays spreading/creating disease don't start and the stimga against homosexuality never truly becomes a 'thing'
>Everyone worships their gods and accepts everyone has a right to worship their own godsExcept in this setting most peoples gods actually exist and appear with miracles and divine powers. If your neighbors worship a different god then you, but their priests heal the sick and stuff just like yours, why would there be any conflict at all?
