Have you read Death Troopers? That's terrifying. Something along that basis. Being trapped in a dead spacecraft with any kind of overwhelming, unrelenting enemy would be tense as fuck.

There was an EU story, might have been Tales of the Rebellion/Empire, that featured zombie stormtroopers. Can't remember exactly how they were reanimated; there may have been parasitic worms involved.
