The game is great it's a light rpg miniature based dungeon crawl. I got to play a demo at GenCon. It can be played co-op (not my preference but very popular with the more board game inclined) or against a dungeon master. Finally HeroQuest has a successor! I haven't gotten my KS pledge yet the USA ship hasn't even hit port yet.

I've never played Descent, but I've played HeroQuest and Warhammer Quest. It plays a lot like that as far as what I remember about those two.

I've heard Descent has a lot of little fiddly parts with upkeep and bookkeeping and whatnot.

Dungeon Saga is very quick and simple.

I got literally everything from the Kickstarter, excited to dive into more than just the quickstart rules.

If you want some really good information about Dungeon Saga I'd look up some videos on Beasts of War. They did some playthrough videos.
