The only ways I can think to improve it are to add a waist joint, and to do something with the forearms. If they had like, a hinge or something it'd go a long way to making them look like actual forearms.

This isn't a grading of overall quality. Because while Cosmos and Bombshell are weak posers because of rounded feet or kibble, they're actually fucking great figures. And most folks don't like Windcharger/Tailgate, but he's got ankle articulation, and he poses very well.

I really like how Scattershot turned out, all things considered.
With Hasbro stupidly letting announce a Nosecone from a Brawl retool through FunPub's Ramhorn, I doubt they'll turn their backs on doing the whole team but who knows. You can't really trust them nowadays.

Couple questions for you guys.

If I were to buy a Seacon reissue, having no experience with G1 and real knowledge except for tiny garbage heads, shitty robot modes, and legitimately hilarious sea monster modes:

a) how big of a mistake would I be making?
b) where should I look for the best deal?

I'm sure you guys discussed how awful it was when it initially came out, or if it shelfwarmed for a while, or whatever. I'm just kind of in the mood for awkward sea monsters and ready to make a bad decision.

The molds are a little worn, and as such, CERTAIN configurations are more floppy than others when you combine them. Also, the reissue ruins Snaptrap's head color by making it blue instead of black.

Rook, then one of the deadend/wildrider remolds, then maybe alpha bravo. Rook's good all around, the cars have a really great vehicle mode if they make for somewhat iffy limbs, and AB feels the most unique of the jets.

Where I lived between 2 Walmart's they had a total of 2 Rook's, and one I had to return because he was missing a wheel.

Rook is still awesome as fuck though. Easily my favorite "new guy" in this stuff. He's bulky, he can have "Hulk Hands" due to his fist sockets, he's got a cool vehicle form. Whoever made him did a pretty nice job.

The ball sockets on the legs of mine need a biiiiiit of tightening up though. Gonna see if the future shine trick works.

The robot mode looks nicer than Dead End, but the vehicle mode paint job is hindered by chunks of bright red not present on Dead End. Otherwise they're much the same toy. Of course you want both for G1 Menador anyway.

I'm going by articulation. Cosmos and Bombshell are fucking awesome figures, but Cosmos can't hold many poses because of his rounded feet, and Bombshell's bug kibble gets in the way of most of his leg articulation. And Tailgate is a weaker mold, but his leg and foot articulation is great.

I even said this, but I know that expecting people to read is asking way too much.

Not when I'm only taking into account articulation and stability. Like I said I was. In every fucking post I made. Because anon was asking for Legends class toys with great posability. If I were to make a list that was simply how great, in general, each toy was, Cosmos and Bombshell would be near the top, but they have some glaring weaknesses that hurt them in terms of posability, despite being otherwise amazing. I said this. Exactly this, in my very first post, but nobody here can read, so fuck it.

Powerglide has a lot more issues than both cosmos and bombshell like how it can't fucking stay together in vehicle mode and how the legs in robot mode always go to knocked knees. Also the articulation is decent at best. Blackjack is better than powerglide but sure as fuck can't pose as good as bombshell and cosmos. Not to mention the awfully placed shoulders.

I can't figure out what you're so confused about.
