Every single successful bad guy figma posted in the thread has been a male...weird. It's as though that's the one parameter in which a male character is more likely to get a figma than a female.

It's ridiculous, they will give them nendos but not figma (see: boatgirls, and the lack of figma Alphard though both she and Canaan got nendos...)

I guess SH Nurse and the succubus from Berserk sort of count. But still...come on.

It's called a tampograph.
It's pretty expensive to do compared to normal paint apps, but it pays off really well. To do multiple colors they'd need multiple stamps to layer it on.

They can be extremely finely detailed.

Here's some tattoos on a 4" figure's pecs from the GI Joe line. Note the lettering.

Spawn III also has black eyes because of a light-up gimmick, and Todd was too dumb to install a removable battery cover in the toy. At the very least, expect to paint green dots on the eyes, at worst expect battery acid to have somehow leaked and ruined things.

Medicom RAH 1/6. They pop up for about £70-80 on Mandarake, other than that the aftermarket prices are a bit crazy.

It's a Medicom comic-style muscle body inside a fabric outfit, so the articulation's decent. The cape's made out of lots of segments of underwired leathery material, so you can do whatever you want with it.

Most of it's a phenomenal upgrade on a rather crappy deluxe. They also handle the excess trailer section a lot better than City Commander's gun did, but that's not saying much, its main feature is 'G1 reference'.

That said, fuck the wings. They don't lock on, so prepare for them to bounce off if you bump Rodimus when he's armored.

The bonus handshake piece for him and Classics Optimus is a nice touch as well.

I got an email about previously ordered Figuarts DBZ figures that were cancelled. They moved the release dates from this month to January... cancelled both preorders since I'd gotten them elsewhere after the cancel, but hopefully this means they're getting whatever back together in general. If they're cancelling out all toy preorders it almost makes me want to shut off my prime membership.

I got emails stating that the items were cancelled and then I got emails like a month later (last night to be exact) stating that they had an update for the delivery of the iterms on Jan. 5th. The specific items were the SGSS Goku and Gold Frieza

It seems like that'd be the only way for it to make sense... but the email with the updated delivery never stated they specifically uncancelled the orders. It was like the order cancellation was just retconned.

I went in and cancelled them the second I got that email because it seems like they're goofing around too much, but was just mentioning it since I know Bluefin distributes the MMX stuff as well.
