By being low heat, it keeps it's shape way easier. When I had a siziable base, I went and did the same with the glow-in-the-dark glue (

Then, to model the inside of Godzilla's mouth, I folded a piece of tinfoil and slid it in the mouth, then wrapped the rest around the head. I squirted some Glow in the mouth, put the rod in, and twisted in one direction while moving back and forth to lock the rod, propped it up and waited a few min for it to cool. I opened the mouth a little further and just pulled the whole piece out, tinfoil and all, then peeled off the foil. Used extra Glow to make some flame style marks around the outside of the mouth for detail. Since I used the foil, it's molded to lock into his mouth without damage to paint or plastic.
For the base, I did the same thing, but wrapped the end of the beam in foil, squirted a big pile on some foil on the table and just pushed it in there. Since the foil was on the beam, it didn't adhere, and since the glue is super flexi, I just peeled back the starter of the base from the beam. After that, I just embellished the outside with more glue.
I got tired of looking online to find some effects, so I just made them myself.
