I used to have a lot of those, from Thomas the Tank Engine, and back when they were made of wood.
I remember going to Knotts Berry Farm and there being a store inside the Park where you could also play with a set they had.

Not him, but nope. The actual models were Gauge 1, but the narrow gauges were a custom scale( All chassis were Märklin).

Yep. The fact it's a ready-to-run cheap OO9 locomotive means a lot. Remove the face, add new paint, and it can be a nice Welsh engine.
