Thundercraker has dropped to ~$25 a couple of times before (I bought him maybe a month ago for that price), though I don't remember seeing Cyclonus going for less than $20 before.

And I don't really see any significant price drops for anyone else, so I think it's just a spot thing for the guys not selling well.

I'm tempted to pick up Cyclonus, but isn't there supposed to be a Takara Galvatronus giftset coming out possibly...

The biggest issue in having a mold of Grimlock is that the G1 style means it's EXTREMELY recognizable. Later versions all dropped the torso wings on his back, so they became much, much easier to remold and repaint.
Now, maybe they could do a titan who's headmaster component is grimlock, but who's forms are just base mode, dino mode, and a very FOC looking robot mode.

Prime was okay overall but its major flaw is not tying up its plot threads cleanly.

It's a common problem with american productions. They always leave stuff for their "next" season and do not know when they'll be cancelled.

I think RID15 season 1 does a better job of staying self-contained.

Fuck, it wasn't even Hasbro's fault. It was the movie design team for sticking them with the worst, non-transformable designs. Notice how the better figures were the ones not in the movie.

I thought Prime had a great start, but turned very mediocre. Remember how it took Megatron all his might to destroy just one of them? To a point where he was incredibly beat afterwords? Next episode, the Autobots can just shoot them out of the skies with ease. It never felt like there was a danger.

Then there were plot points that felt like they never went anywhere. Like Smokescreen possibly being the next Prime. That would have been interesting. Or Mech, they had a big role in the beginning, but felt like they were written out quickly.

I thought that would've been a great way of segwaying him into being the team's engineer and showing his savant intelligence and that he was more than the team muscle, but nope. Somehow, they managed to screw up q character that had a total of one series worth of history and make him nothing like his past self. why even call him Bulkhead?

The takara UM is a much bigger upgrade paint app per paint app than jet fire is.
