Pretty much what the title says. I've been backpacking quite a lot throughout the last few years and I'm at the point where I just want to go on a real adventure. I just feel like doing something totally fucked up.
I've been thinking about going down to Ecuador or Peru to try Ayahuasca in the Amazon jungle, going to Ethiopia to hike up the Erta Ale volcano, or going to Papua New Guinea and doing the Kokoda Track.

Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm just brainstorming at this point, so anything is welcome.

What's the most remote place you've ever been to?

Personally I'd have to say Pyramiden, Svalbard at 78 degrees north. Pic related.
Would love to visit Bear Island and Kerguelen Island some day.

Is it easy to fuck your way across SEA or India without paying? In cities or in villages.

I'm an average looking 6 foot white dude with no interest in prostitution but lots of interest in seducing impoverished teenagers. Do girls in the Philippines or Cambodia let you fuck them raw or are there cultural prescriptions against that? Are STDs an issue outside the cities or are they all virgins?

I assume Thai girls are the most slutty. Which girls are the most pure?

Trying an experiment:

Were has /trv/ been, as a community? Here is a starter-map. It shows where I've been, List countries I need to add based on where YOU'VE been. I'll update the map every so often.

(I'm doing it at the country level because I do not want to get into "No, that fiddly little unlabeled district in Colombia is two up and one over from the one I was in..." I'll remove "trip planned" and the wish list on the first update -- this is ONLY where we've been.)

NY + West coast trip

Hey fags,
Belgianfag reporting in.
A friend and I are planning a 3week trip to the US next summer. Below is our main idea of the journey.
A couple days visit to NYC, and after that we want to go to Seattle, rent a car and drive down the West Coast.

A couple questions:
1) When/where should we buy plane tickets, and are these long flights often susceptible to changes in hours/dates?
2) When driving down the WC, is it possible/worth to bring a tent and camp at particular places down the road?
3) Any other places recommended that arent in the list yet? Some places in my lists not considered worth our time/money?
4) Other general tips and ideas are appreciated

So, we will be looking for a flight to NYC out of Brussels/amsterdam/nearby airports.

-In NY: Guggenheim Museum(25dollar), Central Park, 5th Avenue(St Patricks cathedral), American Natural History Museum (22dollar entry), Brooklyn botanic garden(12dollar entry), Times Square, NYC Skyline, Empire State building
-> Possibly Niagra falls?

West Coast trip:
-Washington state:
-->Seattle, Olympic National Park
-Oregon:
-->Portland
-California:
Avenue of the Giants
-->San Francisco: Golden Gate, Crazy Lombard street, Marine park, Half Moon Bay, Ano Nuevo State Park
(possibly) Yosemite National Park
-->Santa Cruz: Rio Theatre, The Wharf, Palomar, Santa Cruz beach boardwalk, Wilder Ranch State Park,
-->Los Angeles: Walk of Fame, Santa Monica Pier, Griffith Observatory, Universal Studios
--> San Diego

Maybe even go to Las Vegas, and from there out to bryce canyon or grand canyon.

What do you guys think? Is this possible to do in 2 weeks?

Has anyone ever been here? I've heard it's somewhat popular with Australian tourists. Any useful information and interesting places?
