Roadside Atractions

!r3Y4ip.mjg No.1043347 ViewReplyReportDelete
Next year I'm hoping to plan a trip to the USA to see as many roadside attractions as possible, things like "world's biggest frying pan" or "largest elastic band ball". The idea of such seemingly pointless things being huge draws for crowds in the states has interested me for years but I'd like to hear anyone's roadside attraction recommendations and stories to give me a few ideas on where to go and the best route to plan out.

I've done Paris. Where next?

Pic not really related, doesn't do justice to how amazing my trip to Paris was.

Trying to figure out where to go on holidays. Went to Paris last October and I was amazed at how many statues there were everywhere. The Louvre was obviously the highlight of the week. Can any art gallery match up to it? Are there any other cities which are decorated to a similar extent? I'm from Dublin and I never see anything like this. The entire city was brilliant.

Other places I've been to: Berlin, Amsterdam, Venice, London.

I hear the London Art Gallery is good but I don't want to revisit a city just because I've missed something.

Allright, I need some Polandbros in this thread.

I'm going on a really short trip to Poland next week with three friends. Basically, we're going to see Club Bruges versus Legia Warszawa, but we also wanna have some fun while we're there.

So basically: what do we really need to see during the day, where do we really have to go at night?

We booked a vip suite in the Wola district, and we have got around 1200 zloti's to spare, wednesday to friday. What should and shouldn't we do?

I'll be spending a few days in Portland in the spring. I have a day that I don't know what to do with. Should I spend it on the coast or at the Columbia River Gorge?

Post where you most want to go in the future, whether you're planning or just wishing to visit.

-Bhutan (Nepal minus tourist trap; Northern India minus savages)
-New Guinea (fucking massive island, mostly unexplored still; requires serious investment and means to visit though)
-South East Tibet (the part which isn't a desert)
-etc.

i'm leaving the US for the first time to visit Canada and I just wanted to ask /trv/ if the only thing I need to cross up North is a US Passport.

A friend of mine said that they had brought both a passport and a birth certificate and were denied entry. Again, I don't know much about traveling abroad. I'll be traveling via Greyhound

Thanks in advance.

I hate to be that guy, but here I am.
I went to Berlin last week and as I don't speak the language and was kinda lost, I ended up buying the wrong ticket for the subway. I bought the short-trip one and the controller caught me when I was on the fourth station.
He naturally fined me. My question is: should I pay for it or not? Because some friends told me to and some others told me not to... Money isn't a problem, really, but I don't see why should I pay if I didn't do it with bad intentions - it was only misinformation.
Thanks in advance.

Pic not related. Duh.
