Post where you most want to go in the future, whether you're planning or just wishing to visit.

-Bhutan (Nepal minus tourist trap; Northern India minus savages)
-New Guinea (fucking massive island, mostly unexplored still; requires serious investment and means to visit though)
-South East Tibet (the part which isn't a desert)
-etc.

Gotten into the habit of traveling with family once a year if at all possible. Recent destinations include Yellowstone in the USA, Ireland, Iceland, Italy and the Galapagos.

At a recent conference on Where We Want to go Next, strong vote-getters were Machu Pichu and tack on getting to Antarctica somehow, fjords and polar bears in Norway, and a lot of support for somewhere in Asia, though no agreement on WHERE in Asia.

To be frank there isn't a place on Earth I wouldn't go to.

In keeping with the spirit of the thread tho I've always wanted to see those docked huts in Bora Bora. If heaven does exist, to me it'd look like that. Maybe on a future honeymoon someday.

Australia & New Zealand
Iceland
The Dead Sea + Hiking the surrounding area
British Columbia
Various Pacific Islands

I'm looking at knocking South Africa off of the list within the next few months and I'm pretty stoked. Of course I want to and plan on visiting many other places but this list is composed of the places I'm most interested as of now.

It's never going to happen, but I want to visit France's sub-antarctic islands Kerguelan and the Crozet Islands.

I think when I'm older I will buy a 40-45 foot sailboat and travel to these kind of places.

I would then like to get a cruising permit to visit the Kurils. Hopefully by the time I'm wealthy enough to make it happen USA and Russia will either be friends, or Russia will be a fragmented collection of autonomous states which are easy to bribe.

It feels wrong to call anything a dream destination as I am no longer a kid. If I really wanted to I could go there. However, places that are more remote and expensive to reach, feels somewhat more desirable.

Antarctica, Easter Island, Pitcairn Islands...
