>WTF? But they must have found that results somewhere, unless they already rolled out their new
>please call an airline and send us their price estimatecaptcha. So I had a closer look at lufthansas and swiss site, and I found those prices too, hidden behind two options. So why can google find it, but cant link me to it, and why cant kayak find it at all?
>Do you book via third parties such as expedia, or do you only book directly at airlines?I once used expedia for a complete deal (flights + hotel) and it worked quite well, but from all I hear, I'd rather not use them for anything important or expensive.
If some consumer advice magazines are doing a test of those resellers, its almost always something like
>we tested 10 sites>8 of them we cannot recommend>out of those 8, 6 are probably breaking EU law>the two we recommend, got a C- at best anyways>Oh, and we did not go the whole way, and actually book and fly, we just pretended to book, and the whole test is only focused on the site and hidden feesAnd then you look for customer reviews, and all of them have 100% shitty reviews.
>payed for a flight that does not exist>flight doubled in price without warning>added fees without reason>you can not reach them per mail or phone>airline was cheaper anywaysand so on.
Are this all retards who can read the website, or are these platforms really that shitty?
But even if they aren't in most cases the airlines directly are at max 5% more expensive, but you have the added safety that if something goes wrong, the airline has to help you directly, and not some intermediate reseller.
