i'm leaving the US for the first time to visit Canada and I just wanted to ask /trv/ if the only thing I need to cross up North is a US Passport.

A friend of mine said that they had brought both a passport and a birth certificate and were denied entry. Again, I don't know much about traveling abroad. I'll be traveling via Greyhound
