>>1043589>Have you ever managed to get a job just by meeting the right person while travelling?I fly standby. I've been seated next to first class passengers and chatty to the point of them offering a job, many times over. It's always some sales/frequent travel kind of work, or somewhere they'd rather not be trying to hire a local (island work). If that's for you, you really do need to rub elbows with people who are in hiring positions.
But, I'd suggest you find these jobs on your own. You'd think travel related jobs are competitive but decent people who are well-adjusted and love their families, actually, find travel an impediment to that. Those that adore it, have no family connections, are usually not quite that normal, or compensated heavily for it. At some point, they want to quit the jet lag game, and spend time with their kids, etc. There certainly is opportunity for it. Get good at something, and then job hunt, because on job postings, the travel percentage is listed as a percent because some many quality people who find it a trick if they didn't understand how much was required before even replying.
