I recently got the idea of going to Russia for a month in the summer to follow a russian language course at the pushkin institute. I'll most likely be staying at the dorms there, in Moscow.

Has anyone else done anything like this before?

Anything I should know regarding walking around the city?

I'm from EU if that means anything

I cant help you about the russian aspect but i did something very similar.

2 week intensive spanish course in spain and i stayed in a dorm they provided. It was one of the best experiences of my short life and i miss it greatly. I was lucky and had a really social class and we'd go out after school everyday, see the sites, drink and practice what we've learnt, they became like a temporary family while i was there and will definitely do it again some day.

Keep in mind that this is my experience and it could be different but any more questions about it ill be happy to answer.
