I doubt I'll get an answer here, as my problem is very specific, but I'll give it a try. So I moved to Ireland on a working holiday visa and I just got word that I've been hired. The conditions on my visa state that I must hold a GNIB (garda national immigration bereau) card in order to be employed. The predicament is, they cost 300€ to get, while I only have 900€ left in savings. Essentially, I don't want to pay for this stupid card. Should I just tell them I'm in the process of acquiring one, and hope they'll accept that? Or do you think this could compromise me getting the job.
