Greetings /trv/, I'm from /out/ but I lurk here. I will be visiting family and friends in Germany next year and I was wondering if I could get your help with something. I have social anxiety but only in certain situations. For example, concerts, sporting events, malls, grocery stores I'm fine with. As long as I'm not in a situation where I'm expected to be outgoing and social in a large group I'm OK. In small groups of people (4-5) I'm good. But it's in larger groups where I'm expected to be social with everyone or where the spotlight is on me that I clam up. Well I've only met 3 of the family members that I'm visiting and a couple of their friends when they came to visit the U.S. I can see in my head exactly how this will play out. As much as I'm looking forward to the trip, the thought of meeting all these new people and the spotlight being on me terrifies me. So I was thinking of getting some zoloft or something of the like from a doctor.

No. I'm a mellow quiet drunk. The only thing that seems to bring out the real me in situations like these is caffeine but I can't be wired the whole time. So my question is, is there any restrictions or issues with bringing prescription drugs to other countries that aren't for a serious medical condition? Will they be confiscated? I'm 28 and haven't been on a plane since before 9/11 so I'm not familiar with things like this. Has anyone here had anything similar? I know /trv/ can be a very slow board so I'll be patient.

Will I have any issues bringing social anxiety medications on an international flight?
