If you have an apartment and lots of time, then you might be able to get laid. There is a lot of stigma in India about being Indian and dating inter-racially. My ex-girlfriend was treated like a prostitute on several occasions for being with me. She had to put up with a LOT of staring and cat-calling and yelling whenever she was with me.
Which is kind of ironic, considering that her family was quite rich and probably made two or three times as much as my own.
tl;dr - you will have an exponentially easier time getting laid with other travelers, unless you're a woman. In five trips to India over the past two years and well over a year living there, I can count the number of times I saw Indian women with white men on my fingers.
