How do you regard travelling as? Is it just "go to a country", or is it something more in depth?

I definitely think there's a difference with just visiting and actually travelling. Visiting is something to see the sights and have a good time, which of course you can also do while travelling. But I think real travelling requires you to at least acknowledge, if not appreciate and enjoy the different culture, history, and language of the region/country. Travelling is something to experience the world, not just see it.
