>>62254581Dude stop a minute and think. Do you really think these people's lives are as great as they let on? Of course some aspects seem cool at first glance. But in the end they are just superficiality and materialism incarnate. They themselves probably think they are really happy, but are they? Their life has no purpose. Its just mindless hedonism. They will never have to work hard for anything, so they will never know the joy of seeing the fruits or their labors. When your young that sounds fine, but as these kids get older they will start to realize the truth about themselves. All the people that admire them and think they're cool will soon forget about them and they will cease to be relevant. That which once gave them validation and meaning will be gone, and they will be left with nothing but memories of a better time and nothing to look foreword too. They are in the prime of their life, but its not going to last. When they are old they will realize how empty and alone they are, and they will probably wish they could trade all their cool shit for a few friends that still care.
Besides, you think they don't have problems too? You think they are immune from suffering? Anyone's life can seem awesome when you cherry pick the best moments. I've had some pretty kick ass vacations in my life, but now I'm living with my parents while I look for a full-time job. My life is as boring and mundane as they come now, but if all you saw were the picks of me 3 months ago when I was hanging out with friends in Croatia or exploring Iceland, you'd prob think my life was amazing. FFS, have a sense of perspective.
