You can't be serious that you don't think 1 is the best in the series. It's basically the perfect killer doll movie. 1 > Bride > 2 > Curse > 3 > Seed

Almost this
>>62264289 , but put Curse in front of Seed.

1 is kind of a psychological horror film where you don't know if the child is the killler or not, until chucky reveals himself and becomes ridiculous/awesome. 2 has a few good moments like chucky insanely burying the other doll, killing andy's teacher (which is never brought up again) and the entire ending sequence ("I'm gonna get you fuckers!"). 3 is shit except for the part where chucky fools the paintball teams into firing on each other with live ammo which is hilarious.

2 is best by far. 3 is pretty good. Rest are all shit

In the Scream films, Sidney is dreaming the entire time, and these films are in the same universe as the Elm Street films. First movie has pre-burn Freddy Krueger in it, with this character's name in both the credits and IMDB being "Fred".

don' they mention elm street in the beginning of the fist one though?

Pre-burn Freddy was never that old. I'll use this thread to say that I wish Robert Englund would do one more in the series; a pre-burn and non-supernatural psychological horror movie with the events leading up to the burn.
