What does /tv/ think of Turbo Kid?

I thought it was a thoroughly entertaining 80's pastiche/gore comedy. Reminded me a lot of Dead Alive.

Apple was definitely grating, but Ironside and the gore production brought it back for me.

I actually felt like the 80's stuff was pretty low-key for a film like this. It never really distracted from the main story, it was just a part of it.

That's why I liked this more than kung fury. It was tongue in cheek, but it still had an original story to tell as opposed yo being 100% over the top parody
