Filming for series 2 is underway. Anyone else excited? I quite liked the first series, as much as Breaking Bad at its best.

I liked the first season quite a bit. Doesn't have the same meme-action and epic cliff hangers as Breaking Bad. Seems to be a bit slower paced and more focused on characters.

It's a less pulpy, more refined Breaking Bad with a much more relatable main character.
I love it and honestly can't wait. Though I'm hoping Mike will be sparingly used this season. The actor is getting older and, as much as I love him, it's in conflict with its status as a prequel.

Being le contrarian patrician that I am, I also enjoy this spin off more than the critically acclaimed series it is based off.

Some might say it is boring and a story that didn't need to be told, but I would argue that plebs just don't understand the high brow slow burn drama Vince Gilligan has created.

One scene I found quite humerous was when Mike Ermantraut *smirk* was in the parking lot and intimidated the other hitmen so badly, that the biggest guy proceeded to run away. *lets out a chuckle*. Totally unexpected.
