Saw season 1. It really sucks that the high point of the series was episode 1. It's still a nice show, but it never really got as good as episode 1 again.

We all agree the movie's still better yaaa?

I don't trust anybody who thought Fargo tv was anything more than competently made Coen brothers fan fiction with a twist of the current popular morally reprehensible anti hero trend.

Season 2 feels more like its own thing so far.

This. I really really liked season 1 though. But I like the set up for season 2 a lot more because it's not like you said fan-fiction of the original. Season 1 was still a better mini-series than most.

Literally everyone that enjoys season 1 would still agree that it follows in the movie's footsteps a lot. Also Freeman's character is not a Walter White or some shit, he's a more relateable version of will h macy from the film

He reminded me more of a Walter White than William H Macy. Macy was morally bankrupt but portrayed as a pathetic worm. Lester had more of the beta male power fantasy about him.
