WoW is definitely completely neutered as a game, it buckled under its own weight a long time ago and is now a very boring experience for new players. I'm surprised they decided to release another expansion yet again instead of moving on to a sequel.
And it's weird because movies like this are usually supposed to be timed with a bigger franchise push, but a by the books expansion of a tired old relic is barely a push at all.
If I was more naive and optimistic I would hope for a Warcraft 4 announcement this Blizzcon, but I know better.
