How the fuck is this even a contest? One is famous for it's scientific accuracy, philosophical themes, cinematography, and has one of the most iconic and influential antagonist and the other just has some decent cinematography at best.

I can't believe what I'm seeing. 2001 is an incredible film, not just because it's 'groudbreaking' or 'important'.

Interstellar is objectively shit, the entire movie was filmed inside of a barn and a 5x5 space ship

Rarely did you see any space vistas or landscapes, they blew their budget on scrub actors (not including Matthew McCaughey)

Essentially the entire atmosphere and immersion of the movie was destroyed, also the plot the was fucking retarded but that's a different story altogether

I liked the atmosphere. The whole time thing, when they were at that ocean planet and came back after 20 minutes and like 15 years have gone by. Made a extremely interesting vibe IMO.
