Where did this 'comfy 80's' meme come from? The 80's fucking suck overall. Movies were so much better in the 70's. All the 80's gave us that I like that also feels distinctly 80's is Michael Mann but 90% of /tv/ seems to think it's only okay to ironically like him or something. Thief and Manhunter are two of the best things to come out of that shit decade.
