Why was this show so average and mediocre?

It felt like that depressing moment on a Sunday night when you remembered you had a week of work or school ahead of you.

I have no idea how it managed be so mediocre, though. Becker managed to be what Seinfeld wished it could be; a show about nothing. Hindsight being 20/20, I'm sure Seinfeld is glad it failed.

I always used to watch Becker reruns at 6am on Monday mornings while getting ready for school and even thinking about the show makes me think about how dull life is.
