Unfortunately Obi-Wan with no fucking honobru broke the rules of star wars saying that lightsabers lock when they connect and somehow sliding his lightsaber down the blade to cut off Grievous' hand. Even though this is clearly impossible as otherwise they'd have developed a cross guard.
