I thought the movie was excellent. It really felt like the sort of slow-moving travelogue we seldom see anymore.
I would suggest reading David Lipsky's book, though, if you liked the movie. It's basically one, long transcript of Wallace riffing on everything under the sun.
I also thought Segel did a really nice job capturing Wallace's mannerisms and ticks. He was extremely peculiar and always seemed to be "holding back" to explain things to normies, and he nailed that side of Wallace.
I wish more movies like this one could get made. There were more interesting ideas expressed in one scene than in an entire cinematic universe of capeshit.
