I never saw that to be honest. Looking back on RWBY I found that Yang and Weiss seem to have this weirdly pre-established relationship. Yang snarks at Weiss every so often, and Weiss attempts to emulate that. They even planned prom together. There are pairings within RWBY with way less interactions than them.

So, completely hypothetically speaking, if I wanted to find Enabler stories with BDSM elements -not that I'd lewd the Rube in such a sacrilegious way, no sire- what are my options? The search field only cares about the names and descriptions and there happens to be exactly four RWBY fics with "bondage" in the description, two of which are hetfics. AO3, on the other hand, even has a rating "Explicit" which rules out M fics with no actual smut in them.

AO3, don't specifically tag Bondage/BDSM just look for Enabler. There's probably about a page or three which you can comb through. There isn't a lot for that particular ship and the fandom has some stupid hang up, sometimes, about Rubles being young.

Oh, that's pretty dissapointing. It doesn't really make sense that kuma finds it a weird to draw ruby, who's quite tomboyish, in a suit with weiss in a dress rather than the other way round, when weiss is known for being very girly and princess-like. Its very sad that she wont draw it, even for a commission.

maybe in her mind, Weiss has become the "dad" of her little White Rose family, so seeing her in a dress might just seem weird to her. it's a pretty common mindset for people in asian countries, nowadays. can't have a family without a mom and a dad, even with lesbian families.

That's a good point. When she draws her SchneeRose family, Ruby is the one who carried both children, so she probably sees her as the motherly figure of the pair. There's also the "Weiss being an heiress" side of it, which leaves her to run the SDC and makes her the head income earner of the household, which is the typical fatherly role.
That also leaves room for Kuma's devilishly sexy adult Rubles to help Weiss relax after a long, arduous day at work.
