So I recently finished this anime and Im happy theres at least a small community of it, even though I feel kinda out of place here. I like most ships but I prefer TsubaMari. It seems like symphogear does well in japan, so I hope we get another season. I read something about ovas (?) are we getting ovas?

Symphogear is typically accompanied by OVAs called "Zesshoushinai" that release with the BDs. They typically do a bit of world building and some SoL stuff. They're also in a chibi art style and have pretty minimal animation, cobbled together with leftover budget scraps and the love of the people working on them.

There is currently one for S1 and one for G (both of which can be found on Nyaa, though I believe G's Zesshoushinai is only subbed by [Anonymous]). With GX, however, we're getting four - one with each of the BDs 3-6.

Here's a sample of the art style used in them, though sadly Kanade does not appear at all in the Zesshoushinai.

Exhichrisionism! Yes, that's a stupid pun, I'm bad at naming things. As the title implies, it focuses on Chris and exhibitionism, featuring a bit of yuri with Elfnein later on. This story's a bit longer than the other ones I've written and, unlike the others, isn't just one long sex scene, but rather several shorter explicit scenes linked together.

Hope you all enjoy it.

I like them alright, but they're sort of unexciting to me in terms of personality and physically. Hibiki and Miku have been uniquely devoted to each other since the beginning of the show, and their dynamic is more unique and cuter.

Yeah, the ending was definitely a little rushed. I added that in after I wrote everything else, actually, since I realized I'd gotten to the end and didn't have a real sex scene. I just wasn't sure what I could do with the exhibitionism besides more Chris masturbation scenes, though I probably could have fleshed those out more, especially the one where she was fantasizing about Hibiki watching her.

If you've read the other things I've written, was it a problem specifically with this or with my writing in general? I'm just asking because this one could have suffered a bit because it's not just one big sex scene like the others, and it took place over a long time frame, so I jumped around a little.

I'll definitely keep that in mind when I write the next one, though.

As the second anon, I have read all your work and I can see that you're going for a more emotional approach over a straight fuckfic and that is really nice. However you do need to work on your build up a bit as I kinda feel like Chris went into embracing her fetish a bit too full tilt. A little more focus on the emotion in places you don't quite hit like with the finale of your latest fic would also do you some good.

However I am one who typically goes for longfics so my ideals for pacing may not be too ideal for your oneshots. However I will give your fics another lookover and come up with a more coherent critique after I shit out a rough draft for my english class.

I've written longer fics before (not for Symphogear), but they kinda took the wind out of me and killed my motivation to work on stories for a while after that. One-shots mean I have less set-up to worry about, and I don't have to worry about handling a long, consistent story. I just enjoy writing shorter stories more. I've also never had any formal training/instruction with writing fiction past a high school level, so any apparent skill is just practice and pretending I know what I'm doing. I'll appreciate any critiques you can offer me.

The only other thing I read was Beef Strokin' Off, which was pretty great. I think the problem is you jammed a story that could easily be multiple chapters into a single page.
Also, I wouldn't have had anyone besides Ero Elfu find out about Chris not doing these sorts of things at home.

As for more ideas:
An elevated walkway with large windows is closed for maintenance. Chris does a strip show and poledance for the audience far below.
A trip to the hotsprings gives Chris the perfect excuse to flash her goods at the other Geahs, with Elfnein the only one who knows doing so is turning her on. The two hang back after the others leave and do some fisting in plain view of the entrance.
Genjuuro interrupts an alchemy experiment and gets himself temporarily blinded. While he can use martial arts techniques to maintain combat effectiveness, he could use some help around the home. Chris and Elfnein volunteer; and if he can't see them anyway, what's the point in wearing clothes?
HALLOWEEN BONUS: There's a spooky ghost haunting the Geahs, stealing their pantsu (sometimes while they're wearing them, even). Elfnein declares herself and Chris immune to this poltergeist's influence but doesn't explain the specifics. The ghost is Carol, who is bored.

This works for me since I happen to enjoy reading shorter stories more.

What I'm saying is, no matter what you do there's always going to be someone who wants you to do something differently, so you might as well just keep writing the way you want. Concrit is one thing but don't let people pressure you into a writing style you're not comfortable in.

I know this sounds crazy, but have you considered writing a series of one-shots that are really only connected in very small ways?

Well I mean technically at the moment the only two stories I've written that absolutely can't occur in the same universe are Sheathe for Spears and Visiting Hours since Hibiki's got a dick in one and not in the other. Next one would be incompatible with Sheathe as well since it's gonna be TsubaMari yuri. I could do a series of interconnected stories which would allow me to keep doing porn without having to focus too much on a story, but I could still hit major plot points like a proposal or a wedding.
