I kinda like the idea of Talim having a schoolgirl crush on Ivy when they meet briefly pre-timeskip. She's a little too young for Ivy, but Ivy does think she's cute and playfully gives Talim what turns out to be her first kiss before they part ways for many years.
Fast forward across the 17-year time gap, and they meet up again. Ivy's still physically the same 32-year-old hottie she's been for the last couple games even though her actual age is closer to 50, but Talim's grown from a cute young woman to an 11/10 34-year-old woman, tall, fit, gorgeous, and confident. Ivy's a little wrong-footed and flustered seeing the "little girl" she remembers all grown up, and never quite recovers the initiative.
