Have the novels ended? ;_; Just like that, not with a bang but with a whimper? I never heard any news regarding that but this will be the third year without a single novel and of all the titles that could've been used the last published novel is called 'Farewell Bouquet'.
In unrelated news I downloaded some radio CDs from a site linked in our drama CD thread (
>>1854261) and they're kinda fun. I'm always torn when I recommend Marimite to people - on one hand I feel the adaptation is kinda subpar, on the other the cast is simply spectacular. Ueda Kana, Mamiko Noto, Itou Shizuka, Toyoguchi Megumi, Nabatame Hitomi, Kugimiya Rie, Koshimizu Ami, Satou Rina and many more.
I guess that's half of what I liked about the CD, the seiyuu-ota part of me was really pleased with all these blockbuster names. The mini drama segments were pretty amusing, too. Since Marimite has fair share of drama/angst it's nice to 'see' some comedy for a change.
The CDs had some nice post editing, too. Lots of added sound effects and the tracks get changed according to situation. I'm not sure if this is actually common, I think all radio CDs I've ever listened to were unedited period. Makes me wanna go listen to an actual recording of the Marimite radio.
