Toko ends up staying with Komaru, and they sleep in the same bed too. Toko does say she wants to protect Komaru and Byakuya equally, but the main thing is that Komaru reciprocates Toko's feelings while Byakuya literally says Toko disgusts him. The development of the two protagonist, Toko and Komaru, feels good. Yeah, Toko fantasizes about Byakuya a lot, but she's also really tsundere to Komaru.
As for what is the het shit is
It's Toko fantasizing about Byakuya and some random master comments here and there. Some jokes about Komaru having a brother complex but they feel off since Komaru doesn't really talk about her brother. You can easily brush them off imo since they are not appearing all the time. At the end Toko clearly prioritize Komaru a lot more than she lets on. Toko tries to get Komaru to get her shit together so there's a lot of scenes where Toko tries to motivate Komaru.
