>>1886733>I thought they gave us a pretty good reason as to why she went with them. She ate their friend which allowed her to transform, so in her mind, she owes them something.No. She was going to abandon them. Then she saw that Eren had the coordinate, convincing her that there was hope for mankind within the walls. And the last thing Historia told her was to live for herself. Her decision to go with Bertolt and Reiner makes ZERO sense, given the context.
I'm convinced she has some sort of secret motive. I think, based on Ilse's Notebook, that Ymir was once the queen-beyond-the-wall, but that she was overthrown, possibly by BT. I think she's going to try to take her throne back.
When Ymir and Historia last met, they were but soldiers. When they meet again, they will meet as fellow queens.
Anyway, both you and
>>1886734 are still missing my point: Erwin saw Ymir leaving with Bertolt and Reiner. As far as he knows, there is no reason to think she would not still be with them. Therefore, he should not be surprised to see three soup cups, and should simply assume that BT's cup must have been Ymir's.
