Then you add mods, lots of poorly integrated mods that often urge you to play the game in a way that just doesn't suit the engine. This often leaves you with the same kind bitter and shitty taste in your mouth that vanilla leaves you with. Everything Bethesda has made since oblivion has been a revisit to the same old question "What could have been?" if the IP (tes/fallout) wasn't in the hands of technologically inept/lazy retards and shitty writers.
