While Borderless-windowed could be viewed as objectively superior, many times I find the devs fail to capture the cursor properly and I end up clicking outside the game when not wanting to.

Even on a single screen I find that borderless give far faster alt-tab response times in certain games. Or even stopped a certain hl2.exe has stopped responding in other cases.

Thats its very point, that you can alt tab without issues.

In return the game is constantly putting its full load on the hardware even when minimized, and you lose some fraction of performance.
