God damn, I've never seen a game shit so hard all over it's main character. At first it doesn't seem so bad because every JRPG protagonist has issues at the start of the game to kick start the plot, and you think things will start looking up for them at some point, but that doesn't happen for Ludger and instead things just keep getting worse. Even the endings are bittersweet at best. Poor guy couldn't catch a break.
