My friends and I typically do a mixture of single player games while taking turns, and multiplayer games (Kirby Air Ride, Smash, Mario Party, etc.)

It's fun but it's by far my least favorite game in the system, and it sure as fuck isn't a party game, specially with all the fucking cutscenes.

Ufortunately having friends over isn't about you having fun, its about keeping your friends entertained. So as long as they're having fun you should be happy. It's called being a good host.

If I had a PS4, we'd be playing Mortal Kombat X.
Last year one of them bought a PS3 and we played Persona 4 Arena, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Naruto and Flower. Fucking flower. First they saturate me with fighting games and then FLOWER WITH PEOPLE. I swear to god FUCKING FLOWER CO-OP.

My friends don't play any other fighting game that isn't UFC. I tried to play GG Xrd or MKX but they hate no realistic games.

The only "traditional" game they have been ok playing at turns (since is SP) is MGS V.

Well, we did play Fight Night. Which was surprisingly fun.
At least it was until one of them refused to play in a fun way. He did the same with Persona 4 Arena. He found the ez mode and stuck with it for days.

Fight Night is awesome, we still play it with friends when we gather in the house of one of us that doesn't have a PS4 but still has his old 360 around. Shit is really fun if you don't care about losing and don't play like you were fucking Mayweather.

UFC is fun as well, sadly my friends don't know how to play in the ground so we made the rule that we don't do takedowns so the game lose half its fun.
