>>314752281When I was a child, I played games I could play. A lot of party games and kiddy-games. Liked to watch RE from my 7-9year older brothers and tease me into killing that first zombie. I didn't play those games though. The probably more mature games I played came during early teens and that was probably Halo being most underage for. I wasn't able to play online yet anyway. Single player I did beat Ninja Gaiden early on. I'm not the type that goes on being a total douche on the mic though. Just the person that mainly remains silent and laughs when people start raging...because that is so funny/sad.
I do think the reason why children are so annoying is because they are given too much freedom by parents aswell as school. The old days where we were all quiet and listening to the teacher. Children shit on their teachers, lacking discipline and respect. There is not even proof these children know more/learn better than previous gens. There are exceptions, but not enough to make it acceptable.
For gaming, it definitely is the parents. They allow them to play anything they want. Doing what the "big" people play is the best thing ever for them afterall. Make them play stuff for their own age and buy them fucking table top and building shit, because that does so much more than minecraft.
The internet is another issue. I do think you should restrict internet use and maybe just block youtube for the cancer it may give. Give them magazines to read instead I suppose. Sadly children have no brake on what they do, so you have to bend it or either block it. I do have to say I used internet when I was really young (family was early with it), but not much to do other than looking for pictures and doing stuff in paint. Parents never gave a shit what me and my siblings did. We're pretty good children that never gave trouble. If the children only did stuff like that, fine...but it's so much worse.
All in all, children are much more of an egoistic douchebag than ever before.
