I just finished Danganronpa 2, been playing Neptunia Rebirth 3, and a whole ton of psp rpgs. mostly Half Minute Hero, I'm in love with that game at the moment

We are talking about current'ish gen systems right? cause I could just say Atari here which I haven't touched since like 1985. Mostly dropped playing my PS3 recently (stored it), I hardly touch my 3DS as well (probably my least played amongst recent'ish stuff, I just don't like using it)

I do play my PC but it's mostly for emulation, actual PC games I haven't played any in ages.

I don't even have a smartphone.

I play whatever interests me on whatever system it takes and it results in a pretty even rotation, mostly PC/PS4 though. The Wii-U and Vita keep finding ways to bring me back, but the 3DS is by far my least played system. Every game I get excited for it turns out to be a disappointment and they come out only like once or twice a year. Hell I even play my unmodded PSP, and Dreamcast more often.

Not hard or anything -- just time consuming if your goal is to do everything rather than just beat story, it's a long road to beating the strongest stuff

And 5 is the best in the series for a lot of aspects imo.

What aspects? I played some of the other ones and got burned out by how long it took to reach my goals. I enjoy anime gags less now, but still enjoy a good SRPG. I heard they added some degree of unit customization, is this true?

gameplay-wise most of the tedium is gone, and there's no RNG stuff that will lock you from progressing in LoC

story still has comic relief but is more on the serious side

customization is just color sliders, it's certainly nice to have but nothing that special
