No. Half the songs aren't suited to the game and should be no where near a guitar based game.

For fuck sake they have a Skrillex song as part of the career but Rage Against The Machine is stuck in GHTV. What in the fuck?

rocksmith is such a shit game, the songs suck and you are forced to buy good songs to play, why should i pay to play a song when the tabs are free for virtually any song ever made and are easier to learn by the tab than by the game

gh is much better because you can relax and not worry about playing the song exactly and sing along to the track and have some fun with it, gh2 had some great rock tracks which are just enjoyable to play or listen to

I can only think of one song by The Cure where my bass runs out of frets and it only has 19. Ibanez Mikro basses and guitars have 24 frets.

I thought RB3 excelled with its custom characters. Not only did they give you more options than ever before with them, those main menus and cutscenes were just so satisfying.

Something they completely fucked in RB4. No paint, no tattoos, and you can barely customize them at all.

And I don't care how many times they promise more features, I honestly doubt they're going to add more custom options or clothes.

Either way, I thought RB3 was better than 2 simply because I didn't have Gold. So I never played online. I understand that people would miss online VS, though.

From early numbers, RB4 is doing alright. Not an outright hit (sold out in some areas in NA and EU, but not all), but definitely better than HMX expected.

From what I heard, early GH Live numbers are pretty bad. But I didn't really look into it.

I've only played a store demo of GH Live and didn't see what TV is all about. All I know is that there's cycles of songs you get to play for free that change over time.

Playing on a cheap guitar teaches bad habits that will ultimately fuck you up over the years. Squier is fine if you intend to play for a few days before abandoning it in a closet for a decade before you ultimately clean it out, but if you're serious about playing you shouldn't be using it.

I honestly did not like it. I'm in the same boat as you, was feeling nostalgic and wanted to play a music game again. I went with Guitar Hero because the new controller and live mode seemed new and cool.

I just can not adjust well to the controller, and after having to play most of Love mode on normal to 5 star songs I got bored really quick. It also hurts my wrist playing for more than a few songs.

I still have the game, but since I was still feeling nostalgic I grabbed a WII Guitar and Rockband 2 along with Guitar Hero 3 just for some quick nostalgia.

I should have just picked up Rockband 4

Yes, its pretty easy to do, you only need one song Cherub Rock, which is usually bundled on cd-key sites anyway and some DLL.
