To choose one of the dialogue choices displayed in the Fallout Vault video advertising the character Piper, over dialogue from other scenes we have seen so far, is not very surprising to be honest.
It is quite clearly the most amusing choice of words chosen to represent a dialogue choice so far. This is chiefly because of other options remain grammatically correct for the most part.
'Hate Newspapers' is particularly silly without a noun before it.
It's not about how weird this specific choice is, as it is quite obvious that something need be chosen. It is unlikely to perhaps pick this one thing amongst others, but the odds are skewed in its favour. And the results are similar to a random drawing, and for a lot to be drawn over the others is not something one believes or disbelieves, as it is largely the product of mathematical probability only.
There are numerous other examples within this community of people taking a short, weird and innocent piece of dialogue or exposition and reciting it far more than any other piece of the intellectual property in question. It is hardly a new occurrence, or the strangest of the bunch for that matter.
I think you'll find that if you look at it like many other similar examples within this community that you'll find most to be silly choices. But it isn't silly that a choice was made in the first place, we have come to expect such things.
I hope this may have cleared up any confusion you had on the subject if you were to request further information I would be happy to provide it to the best of my ability.
All the best.
