i just got dragon quest V for DS.
i've only ever played DQ3 for GBC but it was the best rpg experience of my life

but now that i'm older and have a job, i cant find the time, or motivation really, to sit playing an rpg all day. kill me

If you have played the games that preceded it, it is basically the ultimate DQ game. But if you're use to DQVIII and IX, then you probably should wait for the remake only released on smartphones.
